The Los Angeles Legacy
Our Story
The Hollywood Cinematic Orchestra and Choir was born from a decades-long partnership between industry leaders Peter Rotter and Jasper Randall.
Together, they bring thousands of credits in music contracting, conducting, producing, and composing — having shaped the sound of some of Hollywood’s most iconic projects from Oppenheimer and La La Land to Frozen, Wicked, Star Wars: Ahsoka, and countless others.
After you ears of seeing how fragmented and complicated orchestral production could be — and how valuable the scoring community is to Los Angeles — Peter and Jasper set out to champion it. Their vision: to build an ensemble that simplifies the process, keeps world-class musicians and vocalists working locally, and showcases the exceptional, diverse talent that lives and creates right here in Los Angeles.
